Today for our study tour class we had the amazing opportunity to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-between exhibit. This exhibit is truly like nothing I’ve ever seen before with each piece more unique than the last. The uniqueness is refreshing, especially when fashion is currently in a state of knockoffs and lawsuits over designs.
Hi Garment Gardeners!
I can’t believe we’re already two weeks into August, which sadly means summer is ending. However, I am so excited because this means I move to New York City in only TEN DAYS!! I finally get to intern at a fashion company I have dreamed about working for, and get to live in a tiny apartment in midtown the size of my closet at home. Needless to say it’s going to be tough to decide which clothes have to be left at home.
This past weekend I went on a road trip with my family to Niagara Falls, Ontario, and finally had the chance to try out my new lemon print dress, and let me tell you I am OBSESSED.
Recently I found out that my latex allergy has been causing breathing problems from certain foods I eat. I can no longer eat: apples, avocados, bananas, celery, tomato, wheat, or melon. Oh and I’m also allergic to dairy. So what food is even left to eat??
Happy first week of summer! I’m so excited to start sharing my style with all of you!
